Occupational Therapy Evaluation

A pediatric occupational therapy evaluation is a thorough assessment process designed to collect essential information regarding a child's functional abilities and challenges. This evaluation informs the decision on whether occupational therapy (OT) services are required. If deemed necessary, the evaluation also guides the determination of the appropriate frequency and duration of treatment sessions.

OT Intervention Sessions

Once an evaluation and plan of care have been established, OT sessions are conducted to address the goals that were determined through collaborative efforts between parents, caregivers and the therapist.

Other Services We Offer:

PARENT COACHING

If you're a parent seeking guidance on how to support your child and you don't currently have access to an Occupational Therapist, or if you simply require additional assistance with your child's emotional regulation, handwriting, or feeding, we offer a video consultation to provide you with the necessary knowledge to better support your child at home.

EDUCATION

If you're an Occupational Therapist or another professional looking to delve deeper into sensory integration or feeding strategies, we provide informational sessions to equip you with additional tools so you can support your clients more effectively.

MENTORSHIP

If you're a newer Pediatric Occupational Therapist seeking guidance on working with children in outpatient settings or within the community (including homes, daycares, and private schools), we provide tailored mentorship to assist you in navigating the unique challenges and responsibilities of our profession in these settings.

SMALL GROUPS AND CAMPS

In addition to our one-on-one therapy services, we are thrilled to offer small groups and camps that focus on the development of fine motor skills, handwriting or feeding. These programs create a supportive and interactive environment where children can engage in purposeful activities while enjoying themselves.

  • Our fine motor skills group is designed to enhance hand strength, coordination, and dexterity through engaging exercises and playful tasks.

  • The handwriting group aims to improve writing skills, letter formation, and overall legibility.

  • Our feeding group provides a nurturing setting for children who may face challenges with eating, expanding their food preferences, and establishing healthy mealtime habits.

To stay updated on our upcoming programs, we encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

We are dedicated to providing valuable opportunities for children to grow, learn, and flourish.
